Biography

Alejandro Flores Bustamante

Born in Viña del Mar, Chile, Alejandro Flores Bustamante studied Education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso before moving to Germany in 1984. Since then he has worked as a Spanish teacher for recognised language schools and institutions. His students benefit from a perfectly tailored didactic method that challenges, engages and achieves results through modular learning steps — developed for different language proficiency levels and always based on situation-specific grammar and communication.

In 1994 these Spanish courses were recognised as educational leave by the Hamburg Authority for Schools and Vocational Training under the Hamburg Educational Leave Act (HmbBUG) of 21 January 1974. In 2009 he received the certificate "Training as an eLearning Expert" from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, followed in 2010 by the "eLearning Certificate" from the same university. The workshop programme qualifies participants to develop and implement eLearning scenarios, set up learning environments and create eLearning content, with a particular focus on media-didactic aspects.

On 8 April 2011 he successfully completed the examiner qualification of The European Language Certificates (telc) and obtained the examiner licence. Since 2013 he has been working in the e-learning and blended learning department of the Volkshochschule Frankfurt, managing the Moodle e-learning platform and other e-learning applications.
